Dale Corey

Director of Research

Dale Corey has been director of research for 3D Leadership, LLC since the
firm’s inception. Prior to joining 3D Leadership, Ms. Corey was a member of the
Research Department of CHM Partners International, LLC, a global leader in
retained executive search and management consulting. At CHM, she was
responsible for the initial identification, interviewing, and assessment of
candidates for senior management positions in a cross-section of industries.

Ms. Corey has unique expertise in assessing the qualifications of executive
candidates and matching their talents to clients’ needs. She has significant
experience in evaluating gaps in a leader’s skills as compared to the desired
organization’s leadership competency model.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Corey was a senior research analyst in the Business
Issues Research Group of Kepner-Tregoe, an international managementconsulting
firm based in Princeton, NJ. She designed and conducted research,
including nationwide surveys, and produced reports on major business issues
such as strategies for employee retention and increasing the speed of
organizational decision making. She was also a member of Kepner-Tregoe’s
Product Development Department, responsible for the creation of participant
and instructor materials for the firm’s seminars in problem solving, decision
making, and strategic planning.

Ms. Corey began her business career at the Young Presidents’ Organization
(YPO). There, she was responsible for planning and executing the education
programs at the organization’s two annual “Universities for Presidents,” each of
which attracted a “faculty” of approximately 50 world-class speakers and an
audience of several thousand chief executives.

She is the author of two books on the origin of English words and phrases.

Ms. Corey received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from New York
University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
